The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in Flight Management Systems (FMS) and software engineering, contributing to innovative solutions and successful project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, modify, develop, and implement software programming applications/operating systems.
- Collaborate with and coordinate work teams to meet project objectives.
- Provide technical support and expertise to project team members.
- Utilize DOORS database for FMS program requirements and documentation.
- Contribute to the development of innovative software solutions for aerospace systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering or a related field.
- Expertise in Flight Management Systems (FMS); Honeywell and Boeing FMS program experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in using DOORS database for system requirements management.
- Strong knowledge of software development practices, concepts, and procedures.
- Proven ability to plan, execute, and deliver complex projects with creativity and judgment.
- Familiarity with FMS systems and software development.
- Experience with aerospace systems and program development.
- Ability to provide consultation and act as a top-level contributor on projects.
