Systems Engineer – Requirements Lead

We are currently seeking a qualified Systems Engineer – Requirements Lead to join our team in the US. The Systems Engineer will lead requirements definition and decomposition for Military Environmental Control Systems in accordance with ARP4754.
You will be responsible to understand and decompose complex customer aircraft and system level requirements into LLR’s in DOORS. You will ensure requirements are validated, verifiable, and align with internal standards and processes and industry’s best practices. You will be responsible for maintaining in-depth knowledge of relevant technologies and industry trends that you will apply to address complex engineering challenges and provide solutions that meet or exceed the required technical standards for your customers.

Responsibilities
- Lead requirements decomposition activities for aircraft environmental control systems on a range of projects and platforms.
- Participate in and support Verification and Validation of the system
- Provide strategic direction for systems engineering activities, aligning them with the company's goals and objectives of Systems integration and architecture development
- Team Leadership, including:
- Staff capability development
- Effective coordination and communication with:
- Multi-disciplinary design teams
- Systems engineering teams
- Project management organizations
- Internal and external customers
- Technical leadership and oversight of:
- Requirements decomposition and capture
- Requirements validation
- Requirement verification
- Ownership and Leading field Issue troubleshooting and support
- Collaborate with technical experts and thought leaders to drive technological advancements
- Present complex technical information clearly and effectively to diverse audience.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
- Experience working with ARP4754, DO-178C and DO-254 standards
- Minimum 5 years of experience in systems engineering
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Experienced in System Requirements and Verification and Validation Process (V&V)
- Ability to work under minimal supervision
