Stress Analysis Engineer - Sr Advanced Mech Design
Essential Functions:
Conduct comprehensive stress analysis using both classical hand calculations and advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) techniques within the ANSYS Workbench environment.
Apply in-depth knowledge of GD&T principles to meticulously review engineering blueprints and inspection reports.
Develop and deliver clear and concise technical reports and presentations, effectively communicating complex engineering concepts to diverse audiences.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects.
Stay updated on industry advancements and emerging technologies in stress analysis and mechanical design.
Adhere to rigorous quality standards and compliance regulations.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in stress analysis for the Aerospace or Space industries.
Proven proficiency in utilizing ANSYS Workbench for FEA simulations.
Strong foundation in classical hand calculation methods for stress analysis.
In-depth understanding of GD&T principles and their practical application.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with aerospace or space industry standards and regulations.
Knowledge of materials science and metallurgy.
Familiarity with other FEA software packages.
Experience with design optimization techniques.
