Stress Analysis Engineer - Sr Advanced Mech Design


Essential Functions:

  • Conduct comprehensive stress analysis using both classical hand calculations and advanced Finite Element Analysis (FEA) techniques within the ANSYS Workbench environment.

  • Apply in-depth knowledge of GD&T principles to meticulously review engineering blueprints and inspection reports.

  • Develop and deliver clear and concise technical reports and presentations, effectively communicating complex engineering concepts to diverse audiences.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of projects.

  • Stay updated on industry advancements and emerging technologies in stress analysis and mechanical design.

  • Adhere to rigorous quality standards and compliance regulations.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in stress analysis for the Aerospace or Space industries.

  • Proven proficiency in utilizing ANSYS Workbench for FEA simulations.

  • Strong foundation in classical hand calculation methods for stress analysis.

  • In-depth understanding of GD&T principles and their practical application.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with aerospace or space industry standards and regulations.

  • Knowledge of materials science and metallurgy.

  • Familiarity with other FEA software packages.

  • Experience with design optimization techniques.
