We are currently seeking a qualified Bilingual Composite Materials Technician (French & English) to join our team.

Description: The candidates must be able to adjust, assemble, manufacture, repair, and modify complex parts and molds made of composite materials in accordance with the conditions, criteria, and details required by the position.

Responsibilities:
  • Assemble, manufacture, and repair composite parts and molds, particularly for simulator cockpits, following technical specifications and quality standards.
  • Interpret and follow work guidelines, technical drawings, and schematic sketches to ensure accurate execution of tasks.
  • Use specialized instruments and tools for composite material manipulation, and program 3D printers for ABS part fabrication.
  • Maintain high-quality standards for all parts and adhere to occupational health and safety regulations, including WHMIS.
  • Work with team members to ensure correct assembly and participate in ongoing training to enhance technical skills and knowledge.

Qualifications:
  • Read and interpret work guidelines and procedures, plans, schematic sketches and technical drawings.
  • Professional Study Diploma or D.E.C. in Composite Materials Transformation Technique.
  • A minimum of 6 months of relevant experience.
  • Perform modification, repair, assembly, lamination and manufacturing work of especially simulator’s cockpit, while following the steps required to create a composite part.
  • Distinguish and be familiar with the various components of composite materials.
  • Use specialized control instruments and particular tooling for composite parts.
  • Make small occasional sheet metal structural assemblies.
  • Program 3D printer machines and realize ABS parts.
  • Be familiar with accuracy standards, occupational health and safety regulations, especially WHMIS, and particularly those related to the transformation of composite materials.
  • The candidates must be members of the Union.
  • Functional knowledge of French is required.
