CNC PROGRAMMER

Aversan Inc. (www.aversan.com) is a reputable Engineering Company that provides expertise in Systems Integration, Product Design/Development and Software/Product Testing for highly regulated industries including Digital Health, Medical Devices, IT and Aerospace.  We are currently seeking a qualified CNC Programmer to work on leading edge technology products. The successful candidate for this position will be a part of highly motivated and highly technical work environment that feeds off the collective energy of a team-oriented workplace.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Interpret technical plans, drawings and specifications to program CNC machine tools to produce parts meeting company quality standards.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, fixtures and machining strategies based on part materials and specifications.
• Optimize CNC programs to maximize production efficiency while ensuring part quality and precision.
• Make adjustments and modifications to CNC programs according to production needs and customer requirements.
• Work closely with machine operators to ensure efficient implementation of CNC programs and resolve any issues.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of processes and procedures related to CNC programming.

 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• College diploma or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Advanced mastery of CNC programming and CAM (Computer Aided Manufacturing) software.
• In-depth knowledge of CNC machine tools and their capabilities.
• Ability to read and interpret technical plans, drawings and specifications.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members.
• Attention to detail, precision and ability to work in a dynamic and results-oriented environment.
