FIELD TEST ENGINEER

Aversan Inc. (www.aversan.com) is a reputable Engineering Company that provides expertise in Systems Integration, Product Design/Development and Software/Product Testing for highly regulated industries including Digital Health, Medical Devices, IT and Aerospace.  We are currently seeking a qualified Field Test Engineer to work on leading edge technology products. The successful candidate for this position will be a part of highly motivated and highly technical work environment that feeds off the collective energy of a team-oriented workplace.

Location: Lincoln, NB, U.S. (On Site)
 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Demonstrates and applies a broad knowledge of field of specialization through successful completion of moderately complex assignments; 
• Strong process orientation and discipline to ensure compliance with both Corporate and Customer procedures;
• Critical thinking, able to identify and implement better efficiencies and process improvements;
• Effective communication skills to interact professionally with all levels inside and outside the organization;
• Flexibility to take on additional projects and adapt to changes in priorities.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in related field with a minimum of 5-8+ years of relevant experience or Master’s degree in related field with 4+ years of relevant experience;
• Knowledge of automatic train control systems concepts and principles as well as current existing signaling  standards;
• Working knowledge of safety standards and practices required at project site;
• Experience in installation and testing of train control systems;
• Experience in customer interaction and adapting of their processes;
• Working knowledge of Communication Based Train Control (CBTC) products with respect to installation support and testing a strong asset;
• Experience in deploying fixed block signaling systems a strong asset;
• Field experience in a rail transit  installation, test or support environment or similar technology application is of significance;
• Experience in support of field activities.
