Responsible for the completion of long-term engineering projects. technical leadership in the execution, cost control, schedule execution, milestone management and customer/PM interface to meet key milestones and program objectives.

• Technical requirements management.
• Subsystem specification development.
• Customer and supplier technical communications.
• Design trade studies.
• Activity cost and schedule estimation.
• System risk analysis.
• Hardware integration.
• Technical problem solving.
• Root cause analysis.
• Design validation and testing.
• Presentation to peers and management.
• Technical documentation – Test plans, procedures, and reports

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering.
• 5+ years of engineering experience.

• Team building and collaboration
• Ability to create specific action plans, prioritize time, and resources effectively
• Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) is a plus
• Interest in project management - cost, schedule, technical execution is a plus
• Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done, do things before being asked by others or forced to by events
• Experience in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic actuation is a plus
• Familiarity with DO-160 or equivalent documentation is a plus
• Ability to comprehend electrical schematics is a plus
• Earned Value Management System (EVMS) skills is a plus
