Senior Program Manager

We are currently seeking a qualified Senior Program Manager to work on leading-edge technology products. About the role

The Senior Program Manager will be part of an Aerospace Business Unit team with the primary focus of representing the company’s entire range of products and services to the Customer, ensuring the Customer’s needs and expectations are met.

  • Continuous investigation and updating intelligence regarding Customer’s staff and organization
  • Ensures effective points of contact with Customer for matters specific to Customer for all existing products, ongoing development programs, and delivered items
  • Opportunistically identify new Customer program funding opportunities
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of the company’s products and services according to Customer needs and objectives
  • Opportunistically identify new Customer program funding opportunities
  • Closely coordinates company execution and delivery performance
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly/annual initiatives to the Director of Program Manager
  • Ensures delivery responsibilities are met which include Contract/Purchase Order review, Review of ongoing purchase orders/contracts for the appropriate Terms & Conditions, pricing, and compliance
  • Develop, implement, monitor, and communicate delivery, quality, and responsiveness metrics to key stakeholders
  • Monitor customer and product support responsibilities to meet customer expectations
  • Evaluate customer requirements, including interpretation of impact on the company, and negation of responses to requirements
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or equivalent with at least 10 + years of demonstrated project management experience or related role.
  • Strong Project Management Skills with eligibility for PMI Certification or equivalent
  • Experienced in negotiation and conflict management with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong background in aviation, manufacturing, and design industry.
  • Analytical skills with the ability to take any data sets and present them in a way key stakeholder can understand and use them
  • Superior Customer focus
  • Thrive working individually or in a team environment
  • Ability to lead others who are not direct reports.
  • High motivation with a results-oriented focus
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

Good to have:
  • Experience with airborne electronic hardware/software development and certification (DO 254 / DO 178)
  • Knowledge of Aerospace product manufacturing and product qualification would be an asset
  • Ability to lead others who are not direct reports.
