Assist in the analysis of drawings, specifications, and requirements from both internal/external customers.
Assist in the definition of the simulator equipment configuration, produce equipment lists, wiring diagram and electrical system schematics required to stimulate this equipment in a simulation environment.
Participate in design activities between engineering groups as well as manufacturing
Define and prepare technical documentation and drawings for simulated panels/instruments
Support third party suppliers and vendors.
Participate in technical and conformance evaluations for simulated panels/instruments.
Participate in requirement and design reviews (PDRs, CDRs).
Participate in estimates.
Provide technical solutions to meet project requirements.
Bachelors in electrical engineering or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of electrical engineering concepts
Good working knowledge of CAD systems and word processing/spreadsheet softwares.
Good technical writing and communication skills.
Experience with electrical, avionic, and power systems.
Experience with simulated panel and instrument interfaces.
Experience with electrical signal distribution/interconnection technology, interface packaging, and power supply/distribution.
Manage priorities in a context of multiple and complex project deliveries.
Knowledge of aircraft instrumentation, D/A A/D conversion, serial communication data busses such as RS-232/422, USB, and of the ARINC 429, ARINC 600 and Mil-1553 standard would be considered an asset.
Experience with E2A, SEE Electrical, Power draft, an asset.
