Location: Mississauga, Ontario
Contract Duration: 8 months (Extendable)
Work Schedule: Full-Time (40 hours/week) | Day Shift

We are seeking a Production Scheduler to support integrated production operations. This role involves planning and establishing production schedules, monitoring materials inventory, tracking production progress, and evaluating factors that impact production timelines.

You’ll be expected to perform a variety of tasks using a combination of standard practices and independent judgment. The position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work under general supervision while contributing to schedule accuracy and production efficiency.
 
Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage production schedules aligned with demand forecasts and resource availability.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure timely material availability.
  • Track production progress and address potential bottlenecks or scheduling conflicts.
  • Use data analytics to support decision-making related to inventory control, MRP, and capacity planning.
 
Basic Qualifications:
  • High school diploma required; post-secondary education in supply chain or manufacturing is an asset.
  • 2 years of relevant experience in production scheduling, supply chain, or manufacturing support.
  • Familiarity with standard production scheduling and material planning practices.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
 
Basic Technical Skills:
  1. Advanced Excel Proficiency:

    • Strong use of pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, conditional formatting, and data validation.

    • Experience with Power Query, Power Pivot, and Macros/VBA is a strong asset.

  2. Supply Chain Knowledge:

    • Understanding of inventory control, demand planning, MRP, and procurement processes.

    • Ability to analyze large datasets to identify trends, forecast demand, and optimize inventory levels.
