We are currently seeking a qualified Project Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities
Member of the Project Engineering Team, responsible for assisting in the execution and coordination of Engineering efforts
Prepare planning documents for projects execution based on scope of work, engineering resources, schedule and milestones in support of BCRs
Coordinate and assist with project(s) execution for scope, cost and schedule, using EVMS and existing departmental procedures and guidance documents
Assist in the investigation, analysis and recommendation of corrective action to address project and test issues
Provide engineering support for vehicle testing and Production Verification testing
Prepare necessary material and attend customer meetings as required by contract and project scope of work (In process reviews, scoring conferences, Start of Work Meetings, Technical interchange meetings, Customer Design reviews, etc.)
Liaise closely with Sub-Contractors to update schedules, assist with the resolution of day-to-day issues and provide technical guidance to the design teams
Liaise as required with other departments, ensuring that new designs are developed in accordance with the requirements of the prime contract(s)
Identify, communicate and mitigate risk using IPS tools
Keep internal and external stakeholders informed of progress & status
Coordinate and support Technical Data Package change processes
Coordinate with CM, Program and Contracts, Engineering responses to customer’s requests
Support Obsolescence Management groups with Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages (DMSMS)
Support and maintain E-BOM’s & I-BOM’s for CDRL submissions
Support Technical & System Specification reviews
Support Failure Analysis and RCCA investigations on issues arising in production or through test & fielding
Basic Qualifications
University Degree or college diploma in technical discipline
Minimum 3 -5 years’ relevant experience
Working knowledge of Earned Value Management
Strong product knowledge of LAV/mobile equipment automotive systems
High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to travel (5% Canadian, 10% US & Int'l) and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport
Must be able to meet Anthropometrical Size Restrictions for confined workspace
