Embedded Hardware Design Engineer

Embedded Hardware Engineer role

RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Analyzing and specifying hardware development environment (HDE), verification environment, debugging and profiling tools
* Analyzing user’s requirements and creating a detailed hardware architecture and formal structured design
* Performing electronics trade off analysis, detailed designs and evaluation
* Performing circuit analysis and traceability from user’s requirements to formal design and implementation
* Supporting and inspecting the installation, modification, testing and operation of electronic components, systems and equipment
* Debugging and troubleshooting hardware circuits
* Working within the integration team to define, implement and verify the cross over boundaries between Hardware, Software and FPGA Environments.
* Defining effort estimates and development logic to support scheduling and on-time delivery of development activities
* Participating and supporting program risk assessment and mitigation
* Providing presentations to customers on hardware design and operation
* Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
* Minimum 3 years of analog and digital hardware design &/ verification experience
* Experience within the domain of embedded systems including but not limited to: embedded microcontrollers, FPGAs, sensor acquisition circuits, output drivers, fault and BIT management and environmental protections
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or equivalent combination of training and experience.
* Experience in formal development cycles such as DO-254 or ARP4754A equivalent process
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Tools advanced features (Word, Project, Excel, Sharepoint, Teams);
* Proficient with Schematic Capture and Design tools, preferably OrCAD or ZUKEN
* Legally Authorized to work as a PR or Citizen
