PROJECT/PROGRAM MANAGER


Aversan Inc. (www.aversan.com) is a reputable Engineering Company that provides expertise in Systems Integration, Product Design/Development and Software/Product Testing for highly regulated industries including Digital Health, Medical Devices, IT and Aerospace.  We are currently seeking a qualified Project/Program Manager to work on leading edge technology products. The successful candidate for this position will be a part of highly motivated and highly technical work environment that feeds off the collective energy of a team-oriented workplace.

Location: St. Laurent, QC (Hybrid)
 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Determine and define project scope and objectives.
  • Prepare budget based on scope of work and resource requirements.
  • Track project costs.
  • Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
  • Manage contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables.
  • Utilize industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution.
  • Measure project performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Manage the overall relationship to ensure the success of the program (projects and products).
  • Create executive summaries and customer facing summaries.
  • Work with the finance team to oversee the financial aspects of projects.
  • Issue / Risk Management: Anticipate and identify Risks and Issues that may impact implementation and develop and implements mitigation and corrective actions.
  • Ensure projects remain focused on key objectives and goals. Develop and manage expectations ensuring all applicable functional areas.
  • Ensure proper change management procedures are followed to ensure scope is managed and additional work is captured.
 

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have 7+ years project management experience.
  • Must have 5+ Years of supervisory experience.
  • Must have 5+ years of customer / client facing experience.
  • Must have knowledge of IT operations and IT support including but not limited to contact center management.
  • Must have knowledge of IT operations for project and feature deployment.
  • Office suite pro-efficient.
  • Experience with Vendor Management.
  • Experience with Contract management.
  • Must have experience managing complex implementation projects to internal and external customers.
  • Multilingualism is an asset (French, Spanish).
  • ITIL & PMP certification, an asset.
