HR Manager

Responsibilities:
  • onboarding and offboarding resources and working with different departments to ensure smooth transition 
  • Helping Managers decide on salaries to offer to new hires
  • Answering questions from employees, and recording and investigating complaints when needed
  • Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the hiring process
  • Assist in performance management processes
  • Maintain employee records (attendance, EEO data etc.) according to policy and legal requirements
  • Using software to monitor employees, the hours they work, and the tasks they complete
  • Using surveys and other methods to keep track of employee morale
  • Developing programs to increase morale, such as bonuses or top performer rewards 
  • Negotiating with vendors for various needs
  • updating company insurance policies 
  • have a good understanding in reading contracts 
Qualification:
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Leadership skills
  • Organization and time management skills
  • Understanding of the products or services the business provides and their industry overall
  • Thorough knowledge of employment laws
  • Ability to keep track of a variety of details
  • Ability to analyze and interpret employee surveys
  • (nice to have)HR Credentials (e.g. PHR from the HR Certification Institute)
  • (nice to have)BSc/BA in business administration, social studies or relevant field; further training will be a plus
  • Problem-solving and decision-making aptitude
