Compensation: $120,000 – $140,000 CAD (annual salary)

Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining the test harness, which is developed primarily in C++, but also into Texas Instruments SDK for AM64xx processors (in C).
- Write Test Cases and Test Procedures for FPGA tests which run on the target platform (Test Cases in DOORS, procedures in C++) derived from existing DOORS simulation and System Verilog/UVM tests.
- Review Test Cases and Test Procedures for FPGA tests.
- Maintaining python scripts and automation (tool) mechanisms in the harness.
- Understanding of some of the TI peripherals.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer/software/electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
- Strong experience of the C++ in low level programming in embedded development.
- Knowledge of C++ STL and metaprogramming techniques, as well as low-level C++ implementation details for the STL (container memory management, C++ runtime integration, etc.)
- Experience with low-level device testing (i.e., testing devices accessible through memory-mapped areas, such as internal SoC devices, PCI/PCIe cards).
- Experienced in writing low-level drivers for memory-mapped devices.
