Site Technology Lead


Aversan Inc. (www.aversan.com) is a trusted multi-service engineering and electronics manufacturing company. Aversan delivers leading-edge and reliable safety-critical electronics and software systems to the aerospace, defence, and space industries.

We are currently seeking a qualified Site Technology Lead that will be responsible for the end-to-end delivery of IT services across the Malahat and Victoria sites. This role ensures high-quality user experience, reliable site operations, and proactive identification and resolution of issues. The position acts as the primary local IT point of contact, working closely with regional and global IT teams to deliver consistent, business-aligned services.

Location: Victoria and Malahat, BC
Job Type: Contract- 12 months
Working Arrangement: Onsite 5 days a week

 

Responsibilities


  • Own and manage all site IT operations, including end-user support, workplace technology, and local infrastructure coordination.
  • Deliver strong user experience through responsive, professional, and proactive support.
  • Identify recurring issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive preventive improvements.
  • Collaborate across IT teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to IT processes (incident, request, change, problem, asset management)
  • Use ServiceNow ITSM or equivalent tools to manage and track work.
  • Maintain accurate CMDB and asset management data across the device lifecycle.
  • Use service metrics and operational data to prioritize work and drive continuous improvement.
  • Support site initiatives, onboarding, executive/VIP support, and key business events.
 

 

Basic Qualifications

 
  • Experience in IT site support, workplace services, or service delivery
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Hands-on experience with ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow), CMDB, and asset management.
  • Broad technical knowledge of end-user computing and site IT operations.
  • Proven ability to proactively identify and resolve issues.
  • Comfortable working with data, metrics, and structured processes.
  • Working knowledge of Networking and Connectivity to support the site autonomously.

Compensation: $120,000 – $140,000 CAD (annual salary)  
The base salary or rate offered to an applicant within this range is determined by considering several factors, including the individual's geographic location, skills, competencies, and unique qualifications.
