Junior Odoo Business Analyst

We are currently seeking a qualified Junior Odoo Business Analyst to support the implementation, customization, and continuous improvement of Odoo ERP solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with business users, functional consultants, developers, and project teams to analyze business requirements, document processes, and ensure successful delivery of Odoo-based solutions


Location: Mississauga, Ontario
Job Type: Contract- 3 months
Working Arrangement: Onsite

 

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders.
• Conduct meetings and workshops to understand operational processes.
• Prepare Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), and user stories.   
• Analyze current business processes and recommend improvements using Odoo ERP.
• Assist in the implementation and configuration of Odoo modules such as: Timesheet, CRM, Inventory, Manufacturing, Accounting, HR and Project Management.
• Support end-users in understanding system functionality and best practices.
• Perform functional testing and validate system configurations against business requirements.
• Create process flow diagrams, user manuals, SOPs, and training materials.  
• Maintain project documentation and requirement traceability.
• Conduct user training sessions and support user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Collaborate with developers to clarify functional requirements. 
• Track issues and change requests.
• Participate in project status meetings and provide updates on assigned activities.
• Assist in data migration and system deployment activities. 
• Provide first-level functional support for Odoo users. 
• Analyze reported issues and coordinate with technical teams for resolution. 
• Identify opportunities to improve ERP processes and system utilization.

 

 

Basic Qualifications

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 
• 0-3 years of experience in Business Analysis, ERP Implementation, or Odoo ERP.
• Basic understanding of ERP systems and business processes. 
• Familiarity with Odoo ERP modules is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.  
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Compensation: $ 30-35 CAD (hourly rate)
