Electrical Methods Agent

We are currently seeking a qualified Electrical Methods Agent. The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for creating, structuring, and maintaining work instructions, assembly sequences, and manufacturing documentation for electrical modules used in our civil and military flight simulators. Using 3D CAD models, you will define clear, safe, and optimized methods to ensure consistent, high-quality production execution.

Responsibilities
 
• Develop, maintain, and optimize electrical work instructions, including assembly sequences, schematics, illustrations, and tooling requirements. 
• Use 3D CAD models (CATIA, SolidWorks, Creo, etc.) to analyze mechanical and electrical assemblies, extract views, define assembly steps, and validate manufacturability. 
• Document electrical assembly best practices.
• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineering teams to clarify designs and recommend manufacturing improvements. 
• Manage changes to work instructions through the change control process (PLM/ERP).
• Act as the PLM administrator for manufacturing documents related to electrical work instructions.
• Work closely with manufacturing, quality, and integration teams to resolve electrical issues related to assembly sequences.
• Document manufacturing feedback and improve process standardization and repeatability. 
• Participate in the organization Industry 4.0 transformation initiatives, including digitalization, 3D visualizations, and electronic work instructions. 
• Work in collaboration with different teams: Engineering, production, project managers, and IT.







Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Industrial Work Methods
• Diploma (DEC) in Electrical Engineering, Design, or a related field.
• Proficiency with CAD platforms and the ability to analyze complex assemblies. 
• Mastery in the execution of manufacturing projects
• Knowledge of Windchill PLM, MPMLink, and Créo view (An asset)
• Knowledge of the manufacturing environment and these issues.
• Experience with ERP systems and routing management (Oracle).
• Compliance with Controlled Goods requirements (ITAR compliance is considered an asset).
• Bilingualism (French and English) required.
