We are currently seeking a qualified Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. Responsibilities
As a Material Quality Assurance Specialist- you will be responsible for the overall compliance and efficiency of the manufacturing process (incoming product inspection, final inspection, full manufacturing cycle including product validations and associated processes).
Perform the full cycle of the audit process, schedule an audit, perform an audit, report/communicate the results and issue corrective actions if necessary. The types of audits mainly concern internal processes (QMS, design, manufacturing, assembly, testing, inspection).
Ensure product compliance with design requirements based on a quality plan-develop inspection and testing standards, establish checkpoints, supervise the inspection process, address non-conformities through resolution plans.
Ensure maintenance of manufacturing requirements-review, assign responsibility and determine the physical disposition of a non-conformance; conduct investigations to determine root causes and corrective actions required for physical issues; Update/develop standards used to accept/reject coins; Establishment of quality clinics.
Lead MRB (Material Review) meetings and provide necessary recommendations.
Execution of quality audits in the Production area.
Validation and verification of manufacturing processes and qualification techniques.
Deployment of measures in production to generate continuous improvement projects.
Identify opportunities for improvement- analyze data to find recurring problems using problem-solving tools (Ishikawa/Pareto/control charts, etc.) Conduct product/process improvement sessions.
Basic Qualifications
D.E.C. in mechanical or electrical (or technical training with equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience in internal and external (supplier) audit required.
Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and its quality management principles.
Knowledge of manufacturing processes related to mechanical or electrical products (welding, plating.
Bilingual (French and English)
Excellent ability to communicate orally and in writing.
