Lead Hardware Engineer (DVT)

We are currently seeking a qualified Lead Hardware Engineer DVT to join our team.

Job Type: Full-time 

Responsibilities 

• Analyze the hardware requirements and draft test cases and procedures.
• Design test equipment for CCAs and LRUs.
• Execute test procedures on CCAs and LRUs
• Mentor junior engineers on writing test cases, procedures and executing test cases
• Understanding of aerospace electronics circuits, assembly drawings, Gerbers, etc.
• Prepare concept diagrams of prototypes, test interfaces, test equipment, etc.
• Plan allocation of test cases and test procedures to junior engineers and document change impact analysis.

 

Basic Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• 6+ years of experience in electronics design involving test procedure and test equipment development in aerospace is required.
• Experience with hands-on test Equipment (ATE, Test Jig) development in aerospace is required.
• Experience with development of hardware test cases, test procedures and execution of test procedures in aerospace is required.
• Experience with medium complex schematic design is an asset.
• Experience with safety critical system (DAL A, B, C) verification and validation is an asset.
• Experience with lab testing (EMI/Environmental) is an asset.
• Good verbal and written communication skills. Prior working experience in aerospace is an asset.
