Responsibilities
Perform finite element modeling and analysis (linear, nonlinear, static, dynamic, etc.) of mechanical and structural components.
Interpret and validate simulation results, providing actionable recommendations to design teams.
Collaborate with design, manufacturing, and testing teams to optimize product performance and reliability.
Prepare technical reports and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.
Support the development and validation of simulation methodologies and best practices.
Participate in design reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
2+ years of experience in finite element analysis (FEA) using tools such as ANSYS, CREOsimulate, or similar.
Strong understanding of structural mechanics, materials science, and engineering principles.
Experience with lifting, material handling and industry standards and norms is an asset.
Experience with CAD software (PTC CREO) is an asset.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
