Reporting to the Customer Service Manager, the Customer Service Specialist will be responsible for managing customer inquiries, resolving complaints, and providing top-notch support to our clients. This is a fast-paced, dynamic role that requires a strong understanding of customer service principles and the ability to think on your feet. The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for providing exceptional service and a desire to continuously improve the customer experience.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

- Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, and live chat in a timely and professional manner

- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to foster loyalty and trust

- Investigate and resolve customer complaints and issues with a sense of urgency and empathy

- Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams to ensure timely resolution of inquiries

- Proactively identify areas for improvement in our processes and procedures to enhance the customer experience

- Maintain accurate and detailed records of customer interactions and follow-up actions

- Continuously stay up-to-date on product and service knowledge to effectively address customer inquiries

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions and enhance customer satisfaction

- Utilize customer service metrics and feedback to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions

 

Qualifications and Skills:

 

- High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary education in a related field is an asset

- 2 years of experience in a customer service role, preferably in a fast-paced environment

- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent phone etiquette

- Ability to effectively manage and resolve customer complaints in a positive and timely manner

- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment

- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with attention to detail

- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism and customer empathy in all interactions

- Proven ability to work well in a team and collaborate with cross-functional teams

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and customer service software applications

- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required
