We are currently seeking a qualified Bilingual Project Planner to join our team.
 
Location: St-Laurent, Quebec
Training: 100% in-office for the first 2 months.
Post-Training: Hybrid schedule (1 day per week from home).

Description:
The incumbent is responsible for monitoring the progress of the project portfolio, identifying/optimizing critical paths, and taking proactive actions with key stakeholders to ensure the overall viability of the plan. They are the main point of contact for planning to contribute to optimal execution from engineering to project delivery to the final customer. They also lead initiatives using best planning practices to improve tools/processes and contribute to achieving goals while respecting budget and delivery deadlines.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and align signals throughout the supply chain based on S&OP for the entire project portfolio.
  • Understand the interdependencies within the manufacturing environment, as well as those with other groups.
  • Identify/optimize critical paths of projects to ensure adherence to the overall production plan while respecting costs and schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with the master plan to maintain an appropriate status report for all projects, from the initial order to final delivery to the customer.
  • Collaborate with material design managers, operational project managers, production planners, production cell managers, union leaders, and supply chain purchasing partners using a proactive, data-driven approach to develop and implement solutions.
  • Implement engineering changes and collaborate to mitigate their impact on the project.
  • Take leadership with production/assembly cell leaders and union leaders to synchronize/optimize the flow of information and material flow.
  • Align with production cell leaders to identify/understand evolving capacity and bottlenecks to plan execution accordingly.
  • Be a reference for the operations team (SME) for planning tools, processes, and techniques.
