Logistics Support and Reliability Analyst - Intermediate

Job Title: Supportability & Reliability Analyst - Intermediate

Location: Ottawa, ON,

Responsibilities:

  - Conduct and support supply support tasks for the Program.
  - Review vendor documentation for supply support requirements.
  - Determine required spares and quantities by reviewing technical publications and usage data.
  - Maintain Material Requirements Planning entitlements.
  - Identify maintenance or spares needed for Short Work and Docking Periods.
  - Assist in developing Engineering Change proposals for materials and material management.
  - Address spares queries and material-based problem reports promptly.
  - Manage supply support data within the Logistics Support Analysis Record (LSAR).
  - Compile data for cataloguing new and existing materials in DRMIS.
  - Prepare and process alternate part number approvals.
  - Ensure accuracy and consistency of part numbers, descriptions, and OEM information.
  - Document material updates/changes in the technical data package.
  - Support vendor sourcing for materials.
  - Contribute to Material Master configuration and management processes.
  - Ensure adherence to standards, procedures, and controls.
  - Create Document Change Requests and develop Change Packages.
  - Assist in preparing and executing various Supportability plans or B2B processes.

Skills and Experience:

  - Engineering degree or two-year diploma in mechanical, electrical, electronic, industrial, reliability, naval engineering, or logistics.
  - Alternatively, certification in technical trades of the CAF: Marine Technician RQ-PO2, Weapons Engineer Technician RQ-PO2, Legacy QL 6A Marine Engineer, Legacy QL 6A Marine Electrician, Legacy QL 6A Hull Technician, Legacy QL 6A Naval Electronics Technician, or Legacy QL 6A Naval Weapons Technician.
  - Five years or more in the last 10 years conducting Logistics Support Analysis in maintenance and supply support of complex systems or equipment.
  - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  - English (Essential), French (Desirable).

Preferred Qualifications:

- Knowledge of Material Requirements Planning methods and implementation.
- Experience with SAP, Maximo, OmegaPS, and DRMIS.
- Background in naval systems and equipment.
- Experience supporting operational military assets.
- Experience developing Integrated Logistics Support Plans, Processes, or Procedures.
- Ability to identify and address Logistics Support Analysis deficiencies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
