DESCRIPTION – Responsibility for Senior QE will include leading activities of the transition from contract manufacturing to client and support the existing QMS activities. This role may be assigned to own specific areas of integration activities and existing QMS system. This position is expected to apply its expertise and knowledge in carrying out transition activities assigned, finding innovative, means to improve quality output and continuous improvements.
You will drive transition activities that ensures compliance with customer requirements, regulatory agencies, government regulations and engineering specifications while instilling accountability for governance of the Quality System, product acceptance and product quality.

Responsibilities
- Responsibility for Transition of QMS / documents / processes from Contract Manufacture to client thru for all the Product lines / Value streams
- Lead / Conduct review of technical / quality documents for compliance.
- Verification of authorizing, maintenance, and manufacturing documents
- Transition of training and certification management
- Support First Article Inspections
- Manage transition of suppliers to the client and quality issues for manufacturing and repair, including NCR identification and resolution.
- Drive quality improvement plans for sub tier vendors.
- Contribute to supplier qualifications and audits, including supplier improvement programs.
- Must be a team player, highly motivated, and self-driven to get results.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering / Tech Diploma with relevant experience in Quality engineering may be considered.
- 4+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and/or inspection in electronic manufacturing / repairing aerospace industry.
- Certified or Trained AS 9100 auditors.
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Lead Engineering process improvement.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma tools.
- Green belt certified.
- Team Lead experience
- Ability to partner with others on projects.
- SAP knowledge & experience
