ABOUT THE ROLE Responsibility for QE will include supporting activities of the transition from contract manufacturing to Honeywell and support the existing QMS activities. This role should be able to work with minimum supervisor or support. This position is expected to support the transition activities assigned, finding innovative means to improve quality output and continuous improvements. You will support the actions towards transition activities that ensures compliance with customer requirements, regulatory agencies, government regulations and engineering specifications while instilling accountability for governance of the Quality System, product acceptance and product quality.
RESPONSIBILITIES • Responsibility for to support Transition of QMS / documents / processes from Contract Manufacture to client thru for all the Product lines / Value streams • May be required to Lead / Conduct review of technical / quality documents for compliance. • Support verification of authorizing, maintenance, and manufacturing documents. • Support transition of suppliers to client and quality issues for manufacturing and repair, including NCR identification and resolution. • Support quality improvement plans for sub tier vendors. • Coordinate activities for supplier qualifications and audits, including supplier improvement programs. • Must be a team player and should be able to work on cross functional tasks.
MUST HAVE • Bachelor’s degree in engineering / Tech Diploma with relevant experience in Quality engineering may be considered • 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and/or inspection in electronic manufacturing / repairing aerospace industry.
