Project Coordinator

Aversan Inc. is a multi-service engineering firm specializing in design, build, testing, certification, and support services for embedded flight and rail systems & software, health technology, and advanced IT.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the scheduling, preparation and logistic of the Project Progress Reviews as per the Project Progress Reviews Instructions, including the capture of minutes, attendance and actions and, after validation from senior management, distribute the minutes and actions;
  • Provide monthly report and update of the Project Review;
  • Monitor the preparation of the Project Dashboards and Executive Summary in compliance with 83410863;
  • Support the preparation of the BOR in accordance with the 83410863;
  • Capitalize on the best PMO practices and propose recommendations and improvement;
  • Monitor the implementation of the project folder structure and alignment to the URS and Group guidelines and directives;
  • Perform training on and monitor the use of the following PMO process;
  • Coordinate the actions of the Project Management Office as per 83410863;
  • Coordinate and monitor the project deployment of Project Management practices and tools;
  • Support the project structuring, scheduling, estimating, risks and opportunities management, executing and reporting of projects;
  • Support the implementation of the assessment of the performance of the monitoring of the project;
  • Capitalizes on best practices and proposes recommendation and improvement;
  • Participates in relevant progress meetings and project reviews;
  • Make timely decisions, both independently and in concert with others, after a thorough evaluation of all relevant factors;
  • Present effective solutions to problems or inefficiencies of the department;
  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic challenging work environment;
  • Self-motivated individual with a proven track record.
 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in related field of equivalent;
  • Minimum 3 years’ of experience in implementing and deploying Bid / Project Processes;
  • Project coordination experience;
  • Ability to mobilize and influence the involved parties towards the achievement of PMO objectives;
  • Advanced organizational skills and ability to balance multiple priorities;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills;
  • Advanced computer literacy with MS Office;
  • Knowledge of Primavera software is an asset;
  • Knowledge of Chorus 2.0, 5.1-BID and 5.2-PRJ an asset;
  • PMP certification is considered an asset;
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
